Who are you?
Hi I’m Evelyn Reese a Junior in High School in Illinois. I play varsity golf with my school and friends. I love to paint, take pictures and travel.
What are the beautiful qualities within you that make you unique?
I am a problem solver, which is something I’m proud of because I can help anyone to find a solution, no matter the problem! I’m also good at listening to others.
Tell us how the Dragonfly Girls experience was for you?
I love the Dragonfly Girls program. I gained a lot of new friends and connections through it. Before hand, I felt anxious about sharing with people. I quickly grew fond of everyone because of the honest sharing that was encouraged.
What did you get out of it?
I gained a lot more wisdom about who I am as a person, as well as a path for personal growth and self help.
What are some of the hard things you face as a teenager?
I face a lot of pressure from school. There’s homework and thinking about my future,, as well as friend group drama and family pressure.
Who do you turn to in challenging times?
I turn to my mom and my closest friend depending on what subject.
Who inspires you?
My friends as well as my mom, they all have grown so much as people and work towards bettering others lives and working toward a better world around them.
