Julie Feuerheerdt
Founder + Facilitator

After spending 14 years designing and facilitating programs in the corporate world, Julie left to pursue her passion for empowering women. After designing this program originally for adult women, she realized that there was a dire need to start these conversations around self-love much earlier in life. As a mother of four (including two teenage girls), Julie has the first-hand experience in dealing with the teen struggles of today. “I’m simply sharing all the lessons in life that I wish I had learned sooner and high school girls not only need this work, but they totally get it!”

Travis Day
Cofounder of The Dragonfly Surf Club

Born and raised here in South Bay’s Redondo Beach, I’ve been surfing for over 20 years and teaching close to 10. I still get fired up to share my passion with so many amazing clients. I pride myself on the quality of attention I give to each surfer and the speed at which they progress.

I’ve been blessed to be surrounded by so many amazing women in my life and naturally Jules fit right in. When she approached me with the idea for the Dragonfly Surf Club, everything just clicked.

I wholeheartedly believe that real change will come to this world once every woman can stand in her power unapologetically and in a community of love and support. That’s what we are creating here and what better teachers than Jules and Mother Ocean 🙂

I’m beyond proud to help facilitate this amazing, life changing transformation!

In addition to her 15 years of experience in management and as an entrepreneur, Shannon has several years of experience planning soulful retreats for heart-centered women. She believes in the power of human connection and the necessity of stepping away from the daily grind to experience it in meaningful ways. Shannon’s natural, empathic leadership style allows her to relate to people of many ages and backgrounds while creating an environment of love and acceptance. In her current role as a brand + business strategist, she empowers female entrepreneurs by helping them gain clarity around who they are, and develop a brand that introduces their unique selves to the world. When she’s not doing the work she loves, you can find her walking in the woods, hunting for thrift store bargains, cheering for the Green Bay Packers, or creating organic skin care. Her mantra: “Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.”

Sierra Poor
Intern Extrordanaire

A rising college student and soon to be graduate. As a captain of her collegiate soccer team she strives to make sure everyone around her can exceed their full potential and find their true self value on and off the field. Each individual has their own story, unfortunately, as women we are taught we could never be strong enough to take them on by ourselves. Sierra believes the opposite, that women are the strongest forces that can take on any challenge alone, however, when we rise together and help empower and lift each other up, we become unstoppable.
